Mr. Galav Gowda is a practising Advocate whose legal journey reflects a combination of Academic Excellence, Professional Commitment, and Practical Courtroom Practice. He enrolled with the Karnataka State Bar Council in 2023 after graduating with a Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Laws (Honours) [B.B.A., LL.B. (Hons.)] from Alliance University, Bengaluru. Subsequently, he completed his Master of Laws (LL.M.) with a specialisation in Criminal Law. Upon completing his Postgraduate Legal Education, he commenced his legal practice under the guidance of his Senior, Hon'ble Justice Sri. Subramanya R., Judge, High Court of Karnataka, where he gained substantial exposure to litigation before the High Court of Karnataka. Expanding his professional horizons, Mr. Gowda also practises before the Supreme Court of India under the guidance and supervision of Sri. Sanjay Nuli, Senior Advocate, Supreme Court of India, and Senior Executive Member of the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA). With the continued support and encouragement of Sri. Sanjay Nuli, he became a Member of the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA). His association with the Supreme Court dates back to the commencement of his legal education, having worked under the guidance of Sri. Sanjay Nuli since his first year of law school.

  Within a short span of Active Litigation Practice, Mr. Gowda established his Independent Law Office, extending his professional engagements from Trial Courts & Tribunals till the Supreme Court of India. Alongside his demanding Legal Practice, he further strengthened his Academic Qualifications by completing a Postgraduate Diploma in Cyber Law and Cyber Forensics from the National Law School of India University, Bengaluru, in 2025. He is presently pursuing his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Criminal Law, continuing his commitment to advanced Legal Education and Research. Additionally, he is pursuing two more Postgraduate Diploma in Human Rights and Child Rights from the National Law School of India University, Bengaluru.

  Under the Guidance and Mentorship of his Senior, Hon'ble Justice Sri. Subramanya R., having multidimensional understanding & knowledge in various Subjects of Law and inspired by his Guiding Principle,"No Short Cuts other than Hard Work to Succeed in Practice of Law," Mr. Gowda is also holding broad approach in understanding the various subject matter in the branches of Law. His professional exposure encompasses Constitutional Writs, Civil Suits and Appeals, Criminal Law, Service Law, Land Acquisition, Arbitration, Taxation, IPR, SARFAESI, Competition Law and various matters before the Hon’ble Courts and Statutory Tribunals. The Knowledge and Practical Experience acquired through these engagements strengthened his confidence and ability to Independently Practise Law and Appear before Judicial Forums. 

 

  During his Legal Education at Alliance University, Mr. Gowda received substantial Academic and Institutional support from Sri. Sudhir Angur, (Founder-Chancellor, Alliance University); Smt. Shaila Chebbi, (Advisory Pro-Chancellor, Alliance University); and Sri. Abhay Chebbi, (Pro-Chancellor, Alliance University).
